Model Answer:

There are only four fundamental forces in nature:

(i) Gravitational force

(ii) Electromagnetic force

(iii) Nuclear force

(iv) Weak force

These fundamental forces result from interactions between an object and its surroundings. Out of these 4 forces, nuclear force and weak force operate at nuclear level. We encounter and feel only gravitational force and electromagnetic force in our day-to-day lives because these forces operate at macro-level.

Rest all forces we talk about are basically manifestations of these 4 fundamental forces. The forces like friction or normal force are basically manifestations of electromagnetic force.
